About Dubai Emirate:

Dubai is one of the seven Emirates of the United Arab Emirates located on the south-east coast of the Persian Gulf. Ruled by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Dubai is the perfect base for multinational companies to target markets in Central Asia, the Middle East, Africa, the Asian Subcontinent and the Eastern Mediterranean, with access to a varied export market, benefiting also from the full integration of its liberal economy with the global economy.

There are currently twenty-two free zones in Dubai, specialized in Academic, Science, Research, Healthcare, Humanitarian, Industrial, Trading, Logistics, Financial, Business Services, Sustainable Energy, Communication, Media and IT sectors.

Dubai Silicon Oasis AuthorityDubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA), a 100% government-owned free zone, was established following Law no 16 of 2005 of the Government of Dubai, with the Mission to “facilitate and promote modern technology based industries” thus supporting the region’s demand for business expansion. A full package of incentives and benefits are provided to companies operating within the free zone. International Humanitarian CityEstablished in 2003 by HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the International Humanitarian City (IHC) is a non-profit, independent free zone authority mandated to facilitate international humanitarian aid. The IHC is among the 28 entities that make up the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, the largest development foundation in the Middle East. More information

Dubai Auto Zone Dubai Auto Zone, along with Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority and TechnoPark, a research driven business and industrial park, is part of Economic Zones World, a global developer and operator of economic zones, technology, logistics and industrial parks under the Dubai World Group. The company aims to create a robust network of infrastructure platforms of such zones and parks across the world for supporting the dynamic expansion of its rapidly growing international customer base.  Dubai Flower CentreDubai Flower Centre was developed to handle flower imports and exports thorugh a dedicated facility within the Dubai International Airport. The flower centre’s first phase was completed in 2004 at a cost of $50 million. The flower centre is not yet finished and construction will continue in two more phases. The centre will offer an enhanced level of automation over a five to seven years for processing flower products. It will begin with a semi-automated system with manual sorting before eventually becoming fully automated.  More information
